Roving
Roving
Basalt roving is an untwisted bundle of basalt continuous filaments. In the manufacturing process it is treated with special binders (sizing) that provide proper adhesion with applied environment.

Basalt roving has superior technical characteristics comparing to glass fiber and E-glass fiber and can be used as substitute to them. Due to its comparatively low price it could be a good replacement for carbon and aramide fibers in some applications.

Chopped roving
Chopped roving
Basalt chopped fiber is continuous filament cut to predetermined lengths to suit a particular application. The appropriate sizing is also used while chopped roving is being produced. This makes chopped roving compatible with other materials with which it has to coexist in applied environments.

Basalt Composite Rebar is a perfect material for civil and industrial construction, upper layers of concrete structures, roads and bridges, barriers for constructions that work in high corrosion conditions for metal rebars (moorages, docks, seafront lines' reinforcement, etc.)

Test results have shown a high durability of concrete structures reinforced by BCR. Lifetime of such constructions is significantly higher than analogical structures reinforced by other materials.

— Corrosion and putrefaction free
